Description
The “Bachelor of Arts in English and American Studies (Minor subject)” is provided by the Heinrich Heine University. This course is a six-semester, German-taught program. The participants can also choose a foreign language – English. The main purpose of this undergraduate course is to introduce the students to the English and American studies, including English literature, language, history, methodology and theories. Therefore, the students get the opportunity to combine their minor subject program with a major one. The participants can choose between the options of art history, historical studies, philosophy, Japanese studies, Jewish studies, German languages and literatures or Romance languages and literatures. The participants are also recommended to do a semester abroad. The future graduates will be highly qualified to work across media, culture management, communication management, public relations, education, technology, etc. The admission requirements include a general university entry certificate and language proficiency: English B2.
