The Master’s degree “Master of Arts in German Languages and Literatures” is offered at Heinrich Heine University. This course is a German-taught, four-semester program. The main purpose of this Master’s degree is to develop the students already gained knowledge in the areas of German studies, analysis of German literature texts, as well as its cultural aspects, development and history. Therefore, after successful graduation, the participants will be highly prepared to work within the media, different publishing agencies, book editing, newspapers, political departments and cultural management teams, etc. The admission requirements consist of a finalise Bachelor’s degree in the field of German studies, as well as a language proficiency.
