Description


The Heinrich Heine University offers the “Bachelor of Arts in German Languages and Literatures (Minor subject)” program. This course is a six-semester, German-taught program. The main goal of this Bachelor’s degree is to develop the students’ knowledge and skills in the history of the German language, linguistics, literatures and culture. Furthermore, the students will also get familiar with the German literature’s period from the early modern days to the present age. The future graduates will be highly qualified to work in variety of departments, connected with the German languages, literature and culture. The students can also choose to combine their minor subject with a major one. The provided options for the participants are the subjects of English and American Studies, art history, ancient culture, historical studies, Japanese or Jewish studies, musicology, linguistics, philosophy, etc. The entry requirements for this undergraduate course are restricted.
