The Heinrich Heine University offers the “Bachelor of Arts in Historical Studies (Minor subject)” program. This course is a six-semester, German-taught program. It aims to introduce the participants to the basics of the historical studies. Furthermore, the students will further their academic knowledge and skills in the fields of culture history, economics, Eastern European history, digital history and many others. The participants also need to combine their program with a major subject between the options of art history, English and American, Japanese or Jewish studies, as well as German languages and literatures, philosophy and Romance languages and literatures. The future graduates will be well-prepared for working positions across education, public departments, communication management, etc. The entry requirements include a general university entry qualification.
