Description
The Heinrich Heine University offers the “Bachelor of Arts in Jewish Studies (Minor subject)” as a six-semester, German-taught course of studies. The main goal of this Bachelor’s degree is to introduce the students to the Jewish studies, as well as to develop their knowledge in the fields of history of the Jewish studies, Jewish culture and principles, Hebrew language, rabbinic literature, mediaeval literature, religion and many others. Furthermore, for the purpose of this program the participants will need to combine their minor subject with a major one. The major subject options between the students can choose are: art history, philosophy, historical studies, English and American or Japanese studies, German languages and literatures, Romance languages and literatures. The future graduates will be well-prepared for variety of career pathways across education, media, public services, museums, culture departments, etc. The entry requirements for this course include a general university entry certificate.
