The “Bachelor of Arts in Sociology” program is provided by Heinrich Heine University Dusseldorf as a six-semester, German-taught program. The main purpose of this Bachelor’s degree is to further the students’ academic knowledge and skills in the fields of sociology, and all the theories and concepts that are related to it. Furthermore, the participants will deepen their understanding in micro and macro sociology, internationalisation, research and analysis, family sociology, cultural sociology, social groups and many others. Therefore, the students will get the opportunity to do a semester abroad. The future graduates will have variety of career pathways, such as work within public and social departments, education, social events, cultural organisations, etc. The admission requirements consist of a general university entry certificate.
