The Heinrich Heine University provides the postgraduate course “Master of Arts in Yiddish Culture, Language and Literature”. It consists of four semesters. The main purpose of this program is to further the students’ already developed knowledge and skills in the fields of the Yiddish Culture. Furthermore, they will deepen their understanding of its history, language and literature. At the end of the fourth semester, the participants need to present a Master’s thesis, in order to graduate. The admission requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in the major of Yiddish culture, as well as language skills: English and Yiddish.
