Description


The Heinrich Heine University offers the Bachelor’s degree “Bachelor of Arts in Yiddish Culture, Language and Literature (Minor subject)” as an undergraduate, six-semester, German-taught program. The main goal of this Bachelor’s degree is to develop the students’ knowledge and academic abilities in the fields of the Yiddish Culture, including language and literature. Throughout this course the participants will attend both lectures and seminars, in order to gain both practical and theoretical understanding of the Yiddish culture and history. The future graduates will be highly qualified to work within social departments, connected with the Yiddish language and culture. The admission requirements include a general university entry certificate, as well as language proficiency in English.
