Friedrich Schiller University Jena, founded in 1558, is a public university seated in Jena, Thuringia. With more than 18,000 students and an offer of 205 study opportunities, it is Thuringia’s largest university. Friedrich Schiller University Jena is comprised of ten faculties: the Faculty of Theology, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Social and Behavioral Sciences, the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy, the Faculty of Chemistry and Earth Sciences, the Faculty of Biological Science, and the Faculty of Medicine. Besides conventional study programs, the University also offers a number of postgraduate certificate studies. These include the study courses “Labour Law, Organization and Human Resource Management“, “Energy Law“, “Intercultural Coach“, “Intercultural Mediator“, “Intercultural Coach“, “Laser Technology“, and “Education and Organizational Consulting“. The University’s educational portfolio is complemented by a broad range of continuing education opportunities. Depending on the respective program, graduates of Friedrich Schiller University Jena obtain a B.A., B.Sc., LL.B., M.A., M.Sc., M.Pol., LL.M., or MBA degree.
