The University of Kassel, founded in 1971, is a public university seated in Kassel, Hesse. Round about 25,000 students are offered undergraduate and graduate study programs in the fields of natural sciences, engineering, humanities, cultural and social sciences, as well as art. The University is divided into ten faculties: the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Architecture, Urban Planning, Landscape Planning, the Faculty of Economics and Management, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Organic Agricultural Sciences, the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Art-related study programs are carried out via the Kunsthochschule Kassel. In addition to traditional Bachelor, Master and teacher education programs, the University of Kassel also provides some continuing education studies at Master’s level. They include the study courses “Education Management“, “General Management“, “Industrial Production Management“, “Marketing and Dialogue Marketing“, “Multidimensional Organizational Consulting – Supervision, Coaching, Organizational Development“, “Public Administration“, “Public Transport and Mobility“, “Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency for the MENA Region“, and “Wind Energy Systems“.
