The “Master of Science in Biological Oceanography” is provided by the Christian Albrecht University of Kiel for 2 years. The course begins in the winter semester and the language of instruction is English. The aim of this degree program is to ensure that applicants are able to master difficult tasks and become knowledgeable about the ocean’s ecosystem. During the course of study candidates will learn methodological skills in both the analysis and the critical interpretation of data. Following graduation, applicants can find jobs in areas such as research and teaching, or in a private sector as a marine consultant.
