“Bachelor of Science in Biology” is a two-subject Bachelor teacher training course, which is taught at the Christian Albrecht University of Kiel. The course lasts for a period of 3 years and the winter semester kicks off the academic calendar. Applicants acquire strong scientific and didactic specialized knowledge that will enable them to encourage kids to appreciate biological diversity, answer questions about origin of this diversity and explore how biological systems operate with their class. This program is designed for applicants who have a good understanding of physics, chemistry and biology as well as the English language. After completing this Bachelor’s degree, candidates can become a teacher at secondary levels 1 and 2 at grammar schools and community schools.
