The “Master of Education in Biology” is a postgraduate teaching degree undertaken at the University of Kiel which begins in the summer and winter semester. The program duration is of 4 semesters and is classified as a two-subject Master’s degree. Applicants will be given a research task to complete independently as part of a project. Candidates will gain an understanding of current research methods and will be able to apply current biological advancements to school in their later professional lives. Following graduation, graduates can become a teacher in secondary levels 1 and 2 at grammar school or in a community school.
