The degree program “Master of Science in Business Chemistry” is taught at the University of Kiel for a duration of 3 semesters. The academic calendar begins in the winter and summer semester. Through this program, students will improve their knowledge of chemistry and become more specialised in fields such as organic, medicinal, and biochemistry. In addition, applicants will gain economic expertise in subjects such as business administration, economics / microeconomics, and economics / macroeconomics. Students may choose to study marketing strategies and technology management, market processes and the distribution of products, or worldwide linkages between markets and finance, depending on their interests. At the end of this course graduates can work in the chemical industry or take up teaching as a profession at research institutions.
