The Master’s degree “Master of Science in Business Informatics” is provided for four semesters at the University of Kiel. The academic calendar begins in the winter and summer semester. This course is designed in a highly multidisciplinary and flexible way. This degree is divided into three sub-disciplines: business informatics, computer science, and economics. Students can create their own study path by selecting courses from each sub-discipline. In economics, applicants can select between a business and an economic orientation, and possible specialties within these fields include production and logistics, innovation management, consumer behaviour, macroeconomics, financial markets, or quantitative economic research. At the end of their studies students receive 120 credit points and career-wise graduates can take up a number of tasks ranging from design to sales.
