The two-subject degree program “Bachelor of Science in Chemistry” is provided by the University of Kiel for a period of 6 semesters. This undergraduate program is aimed at candidates who have a keen interest in dealing with scientific contexts or enjoy answering questions with practical experiments. The course is divided into modules and the module examination determines whether the student has achieved the learning objectives of a module. Having a good knowledge of Mathematics and Physics as well as the English language is a requirement for this undergraduate degree. Applicants are able to work as a teacher at secondary levels 1 and 2 at grammar schools and community schools following graduation.
