The two-subject, two-year degree program “Master of Education in Computer Science (Teaching at Grammar Schools Profile)” is conducted at the Christian Albrechts University of Kiel. The course is meant for students who wish to acquire a teaching position at grammar schools. Academic calendar begins in the winter and summer semester. A wide range of modules will be offered to allow students to develop the specific expertise they gained in their bachelor's degree, such as advanced programming, embedded systems, or social media and web science. Graduates can also opt for a doctorate degree in the same field following graduation of instead take up a teaching job.
