The University of Kiel provides the state examination program “Dentistry”, with the academic calendar beginning in the winter semester. The standard duration of this degree is 10 semesters and six months. Students will finish the scientific, pre-clinical study and the practical, clinical study in equal portions, with five semesters for each subject. Because of the synoptic treatment approach, dental students will receive a thorough education across all dental specialities as part of their education.
