The degree program “Master of Science in Economics (Business Education Profile)” is carried out at the University of Kiel, with the academic calendar beginning in the winter and summer semester. The standard duration of this course is 4 semesters. Each candidate has the option of taking a seminar in either business administration or economics in the fourth semester in order to specialise in one of the two sub-disciplines. As part of the business education profile, students develop their knowledge and abilities in the areas of theory as well as topic didactics, which they then put to the test and report on during a practical phase of school. Following graduation, students will have a better understanding of the interactions that emerge from the economic operations and linkages of corporations, individual families, and the government within a wider economic and monetary region. The number of credit points received at the end of their studies amount to 120 and students can work in a private educational institution or in academic research and teaching.
