The University of Kiel offers its prospective applicants the single-subject degree program “Master of Science in Economics”, which is aims to provide candidates with a thorough understanding of economic interrelationships, processes, and institutions, as well as an understanding of the increasingly complex economic and social activities that are taking place. The program has a standard duration of 4 semesters. The language of instruction is English and during the course of study candidates are familiarized with areas such as public sector economics, financial markets among other.
