“Bachelor of Science in Ecotrophology” at University of Kiel is offered for 3 years and is an ideal degree for candidates who wish to work in areas such as the food industry or in the consumer goods and service sector. The degree focuses on two main areas, namely the nutritional and food sciences and the other one being nutrition and health economics. Applicants should have a strong interest in science and economics, as well as a thorough understanding of biology, chemistry, physics, and maths in order to excel in this degree. At the end of their studies students earn 180 credit points. After graduation graduates can also opt for further courses of study such as a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences.
