Description
The two-subject program “Bachelor of Arts in Frisian Studies (Subject Supplement Profile)” is offered by the University of Kiel which has a duration of 6 semesters. Students will study Frisian languages, literature, and regional studies as part of their degree. In linguistics, the candidates will explore the Frisian language on many levels such as phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics as well as in its linguistic sociology and linguistic stratification. Interest in Frisian and related themes, as well as prior understanding of Frisian, are regarded advantages for this undergraduate degree program. Candidates receive 120 credits by the end of their studies and graduates can find work in the cultural field, or in the media.
