The two-subject degree “Bachelor of Arts in German” is offered at the Christian Albrechts University of Kiel, and begins in the winter semester. The program lasts for a period of 3 years. During the course of study, candidates acquire knowledge in German linguistics, older German literature, as well as Newer German literature and media. The two-subject undergraduate degree is modular, meaning that the module examination determines whether the student has achieved the learning objectives of a module. The first year is primarily of an orientation or basic study character. Graduates can work as employees in publishing, journalism, in the media and many more.
