Description
The two-subject degree program “Master of Education in Greek Philology” is offered for 2 years at the University of Kiel. The course begins in the winter and summer semester and is meant for applicants who wish to acquire a teaching position at grammar schools. During the course of this Master’s degree, students will learn complete linguistic and technical abilities that will enable them to independently master methodologies and working procedures as well as conduct their own research. Students will learn how to acquire subject-specific information and abilities on their own, as well as how to develop and present scientifically sound judgements throughout their studies. People interested in ancient Greek languages and literature who like educating children and young people would benefit from this degree. After graduation, candidates can work as a teacher in secondary levels 1 and 2 at grammar and community schools.
