The University of Kiel offers the two-subject degree program “Master of Arts in Greek Philology”, which lasts for a period of 2 years. The course begins in the winter and summer semester. A complete linguistic and technical education is provided to students in order to prepare them for autonomous mastery of methodologies and working procedures, as well as the capacity to carry out their own scientific research. Students who enrol in the Master's degree in Greek Philology are prepared for academic employment as well as a wide range of other careers. The course is designed to impart broad methodological and content-related abilities that are necessary in the publishing, media, and cultural sectors in general.
