“Master of Education in History” is carried out at the University of Kiel for a period of 2 years, beginning in the winter and summer semester. The course is meant for candidates who wish to acquire a teaching position at grammar schools. During the course of study, students will study three core areas of history, namely, ancient history, modern history and middle history. Further courses in regional history are available, such as courses in Nordic or Eastern European histories. Students will be able to evaluate texts, images, and objects independently and present the results in an attractive and balanced manner by the end of their studies.
