Description

Kiel University offers the extra-occupational teacher training program “Master of Arts in Mathematics”, which begins in the winter semester and has a span of 4 semesters. Combining self-study, lectures and discussions, training sessions with groups of people and online learning phases allows applicants to engage with the teaching content in an intense fashion. The purpose of this course is to prepare persons for careers as part-time mathematics instructors. Candidate can also pursue leadership roles in school administration or professionalization programs for mathematics instructors. Graduates after the completion of their studies can work as a specialist consultant and coach, or as a mentor.
