The University of Kiel provides the two-subject degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Pedagogy (Subject Supplement Profile)”, which begins in the winter semester. The standard duration of this degree is 3 years. Particularly, students will learn the fundamentals of general pedagogy and the empirical techniques of educational. Candidate's will also develop an understanding of education management, schooling, social work and sexual and reproductive health education, as well as the role of the media in education, vocational and business education, field research. The goal of their bachelor's degree is to prepare students to operate autonomously and scientifically in educational fields. Depending on their second subject, students have access to education, social services, and health care in a consultative, conceptual, or moderating capacity after completing their studies.
