The two-subject degree program “Master of Arts in Political Science” can be conducted at the University of Kiel for a period of 4 semesters. Studies begin in the winter and summer semester and the course content includes comprehensive theoretical and conceptual analysis skills, as well as in-depth empirical specialised knowledge. This skill allows students to do independent research and prepares them for professional activities at many levels in politics and administration, business, media, and civil society, but also in science. It is also important to acquire skills in applying scientific theories, techniques, and approaches to real-life situations. The maximum number of credit points received at the completion of studies amount to 75. Main areas of employment for graduates are business, media, science and politics among others.
