Description

The two-subject degree program “Master of Education in Protestant Religious Studies (Teaching at Grammar Schools Profile)” is a postgraduate course provided by the Christian Albrechts University of Kiel. The course lasts for a period of 2 years. In this course, participants will learn attractive and modern ways of working didactically with the Bible, as well as other teaching subjects that they may tailor to their own interests. Religious education nowadays is characterised by a wide range of religious and ideological beliefs; therefore candidates must prepare for this and evaluate their knowledge gained throughout the practical semester. The academic calendar begins in the winter semester and summer semester. After completing their studies, graduates become secondary school teachers in grammar schools and community schools in grades I and II.
