Description
“Master of Arts in Religion and Ethics” is provided at the University of Kiel for 2 years, with studies beginning in the winter semester. Students will acquire ethical competence and judgement in relation to contemporary social discourses throughout the course of their studies. As part of this course, students will study how to interpret sacred writings, such as the Bible, in light of the past. A fundamental understanding of Christianity and a broad overview of faiths will be taught to candidates. The curriculum also includes topics from the philosophy of religion and current expressions of religion and ethics. By the end of studies, candidates will acquire 120 credit points and may pursue a career in journalism or publishing or in government organizations.
