Description
The two-subject program “Master of Education in Spanish (Teaching at Grammar Schools Profile)” is conducted at the University of Kiel for a period of 2 years, with studies beginning in the winter and summer semester. This course focuses on the introduction to a proficient use of language by completing practical language activities with native speaker instructors. Additionally, students have the option to take advantage of opportunities for stays abroad, such as the foreign language support provided by the ERASMUS study program. In linguistics, students devote themselves to the diachronic investigation of the Spanish language from its origins to the current day, as well as the synchronous analysis of language. In literary studies, students examine and contextualise literary texts of all kinds, while in cultural studies, they enhance their intercultural competency by contrasting cultural occurrences. The number of credit points received at the end of their studies amount to 100.
