The two-subject degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Sports Science (Business Education Profile)” is provided by the University of Kiel, with the academic calendar beginning in the winter semester. The course lasts for a period of 6 semesters. During the course of study candidates are taught the basics of sport science in theory and practice. The number of credit points received at the end of the course is 110. This degree requires a passion for working with people, which is obvious while teaching or educating children, adolescents, and adults how to practise sports. Following graduation students can take up responsible tasks in areas such as private educational institutes and academic research and teaching among others.
