The degree program „Master of Arts in Sports Science” can be undertaken at the University of Kiel for 2 years. The goal of the course is to give a comprehensive, vocational, and scientific education with a view to teaching, research, and organisational and planning activities. The course commences in the winter semester and by the end of the degree graduates receive 120 credit points. Research methodologies are taught at the expert level. In addition, expertise in the areas of teaching and advisory skills, as well as social skills in the fields of sports science, sports and health, and sports and business, are imparted in a broad variety of institutions and organisations. Students will be able to work independently and scientifically at the conclusion of the course, as well as deal with and solve application-related issues and tasks scientifically.
