The two-subject degree course “Master of Education in Sports Science (Teaching at Grammar Schools Profile)” is offered at the University of Kiel for a period of 2 years and the course is divided into modules. The academic calendar begins in the winter and summer semester. During the curriculum students study topics such as sports medicine, sports psychology and sports education. In addition to teaching in grammar schools and community schools, students have a variety of different career options after the conclusion of their study. Students will have the chance to work on research projects and obtain further credentials through a doctorate once they complete their degree. For this degree, candidates must have an interest in sports, as well as an interest in educational concerns and challenges.
