The two-subject Bachelor’s degree “Bachelor of Arts in Sports Science (Subject Supplement Profile)” at the University of Kiel is offered for a period of 6 semesters. The academic calendar begins in the winter semester and graduates receive 110 credit points by the end of their studies. Students will learn the foundations of sport science in theory and practise in this course. An emphasis is placed on evaluating and optimising athletic motions, in addition to the technical basics of sports medicine and sport sociology as well as sport education and sport psychology. Candidates who study sports science at Kiel will gain a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical sports issues. Students will play football, handball, volleyball, table tennis, and badminton, among other sports, as team and return games.
