Description

The two-subject degree program “Master of Arts in Sports Science, Business Education Profile)” is offered at the University of Kiel and it begins in the winter and summer semester. The program lasts for a period of 2 years and students acquire in-depth knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods throughout the course. Students work on and debate sports medicine, sports psychology, sports education, and sports sociology in small groups. Graduates are in demand in sports organisations, media, the leisure and tourist business, and the health system, for example in preventive, rehabilitation, and handicapped sports. A career in sports science should also be considered, as graduates have the option to work on research projects and earn further credentials through a PhD.
