With a total length of six semesters, the “Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences” is offered by the University of Konstanz. During the course, the participants acquire skills in all of the classical and modern fields of biology along with comprehensive practical training in the methods of cellular and molecular biology. By teaching basic knowledge and skills to the field of general, inorganic and organic chemistry the students are able to understand the laws of molecular processes and principles in cells and organisms while mastering the essential rules of the chemical nomenclature, the students learn to use the scientific reflect on the cognitive process, learn the difference between qualitative and evaluate quantitative statements and explore the basics of physics design along with the competence development in microscopy, spectroscopy, electrophoresis, and more.
