The four-semester degree program “Master of Education in Biology (Secondary Education)” is offered by the University of Konstanz. The course builds on the already acquired knowledge in the bachelor’s degree and expands the knowledge in principles of innate and adaptive immune responses and their cellular and anatomical-organic components, the receptor systems as well as their signal transduction and gene regulation along with comprehension in the medical implications of immunology, autoimmune and immunodeficiency diseases. The participants learn the ecological connections between Geomorphology and vegetation as well as the indigenous plant species, anthropogenic influences, ecosystems and learn how natural systems can act as natural reservoirs for resistant germs.
