Provided by the University of Konstanz the “Master of Science in Computer and Information Science” is with a total length of four semesters. The course is geared towards the computer-assisted processing of large volumes of data and provides a combination of automatic data analysis procedures and interactive visualization comprehension along with a variety of methods and technologies from different branches of computer science such as information system development, databases, software engineering, networks, visualization, data analysis, algorithms, information science, interaction design and information retrieval. In addition to the subject-specific competences also interdisciplinary competences and key qualifications are strengthened. Graduates will be are able to apply scientific methods of computer and information science to solving complex practical and scientific problems.
