The four-semester study course “Master of Education in Computer Science (Secondary Education)” is offered by the University of Konstanz. The program is primarily based on mathematics and engineering while the aim of the program is to impart technical knowledge and to become aware of methods and tools. By systematically developing and expand their theoretical and methodological foundations in specialist science, specialist didactics and educational science the graduates learn the basics of human information processing such as perception, cognition, motor skills, mental models, mistakes, rules of user interface design and the fundamental methods and techniques to develop interactive systems for instance requirements analysis, sketching and prototyping, evaluation methods and techniques.
