The four-semester degree program “Master of Arts in Eastern European Studies: History-Media” is provided by the University of Konstanz. The interdisciplinary course deepens the already acquired knowledge in the humanities, the social and cultural sciences with a focus on the Eastern European region. The content consists of specialised fields both Slavic media, cultural studies and Eastern European history and provides a strong, broad knowledge and methodical skills to understand cultural, historical and media processes. The participants acquire skills in the application of cultural, historical and media-scientific theoretical concepts skills to reflect specifics related to Eastern Europe in pan-European and global contexts.
