Provided by the University of Konstanz the study degree “Master of Education in Economics (Secondary Education)” is with a total duration of four semesters. During the course, prospective students will be able to understand the role of the state in order to successfully function in a market economy and become able to comprehend the diversity of existing theories of justice while developing and analyzing micro founded, dynamic general equilibrium models in modern macroeconomics and learn how to analyze optimization problems and properly understand how markets work. Students obtain the ability of problem solving on the basis of relevant legal norms and form a strong understanding of the central institutions and actors of the political systems.
