With a duration of four semesters the “Bachelor of Education in Economics (Secondary Education)” is offered by the University of Konstanz. The program provides with the essential knowledge, methods and theoretical background in the areas of economics and business administration. Students will learn how to explain the basic concepts of modern economic theory and to follow economic policy discussions while acquiring subject-specific overview knowledge with the basic concepts and ways of thinking in economics, dealing with micro- and macro-economic explanatory models and simple economic questions as well as obtaining methodically sound understanding of the possibilities and limits of economic policy and become aware of the limits of the market model.
