Offered by the University of Konstanz, the “Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Finance” is with a total length of six semesters. By exploring in depth, the analysis of national and international financial markets, the focus is primarily oriented towards the mathematically founded analysis of economic decision problems. During the course, the prospective students learn to analyze economic problems using complex mathematical methods while also obtaining knowledge in both topics of mathematic and economic aspects as well as general understanding of the economics and scientific working techniques. Participants will be able to understand the basic terms, statements and methods of analysis and acquire advanced skills in precise formulation along with mathematical facts in the logically correct justification of professional contexts and will be able to use different solution methods and investigate the qualitative behavior of solutions and to justify.
