Offered by the University of Konstanz the study course “Master of Science in Mathematical Finance” is with a duration of four semesters. During the course, prospective students learn to analyse and solve financial problems with the aid of mathematical methods along with the analysis of risks, liquidity, non-payment or currency exchange risks and their impact on the valuation of securities and companies. Students study incentive models for managers, investors and traders and discuss how financial markets can be regulated and receive method-based training in the relevant areas of mathematics as well as both theory-based and application-oriented training in financial management.
