Provided by the University of Konstanz, the program “Master of Education in French (Secondary Education)” is with a total length of four semesters. The linguistic modules of the course deal systematically with the structure and history of the French language with an overview of the development of French-language literature from the Middle Ages to the present, taking into account cultural, political, social and historical aspects, the Literature as an element of cultural memory, transcultural discourses as well as the formation of identities with the inclusion of the Francophone, topic analysis and interpretation of literature, taking into account various forms of media expression, regional and cultural knowledge of the most important target countries, objects and methods of cultural studies country comparison, French media culture and its various forms of expression from an intercultural perspective.
