The “Master of Education in Italian (Secondary Education)” is with a four-semester standard period of study provided by the University of Konstanz. The degree program covers topics such as lexics, pragmatics, text and discourse linguistics, central processes of internal and external Italian language history, minority languages, language policy along with applied linguistics in individual focus areas, for example psycholinguistics especially language acquisition and neurolinguistics with a variety and sociolinguistics and topic analysis and interpretation of literature, taking into account various forms of media expression and the importance of Italian literature for the cultural and transcultural identity of Italy and Europe, objects and methods of cultural studies country comparison, Italian media culture and its various forms of expression and more.
