The state examination program “Law” is a ten-semester study degree program provided by the University of Konstanz. The program deals with the present-day system of law while students learn how to understand and interpret it systematically and conceptually. During their study, the prospective students expand their knowledge in the historical, political, social and philosophical foundations of the legal system. The study contents focuses on the fundamental regulations in civil law, criminal law and public law in scientific depth. The program also includes international and European law references, procedural law and the aim is to teach the students how to legally deal with new facts in a constantly changing reality and to apply unknown legal norms safely.
