“Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics” is offered by the University of Konstanz with a total length of six semesters. The program aims to increase the awareness and understanding of implicit language knowledge and to explain it. The prospective students master the basics of the core areas phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics as well as selected areas of application and learn how to analyze in the forms of representation of the respective area while gaining preparation and analysis of voice data and voice processing data. The course covers critical examination and questioning of current methods in data acquisition, data analysis, interpretation, modeling with strong basic methods of the empirical social science and linguistics.
